How big are carbon filters?? + pics

One thing i noticed while i was building my first CAB was the amount of people ,"including myself", that was asking others how large carbon filters are ? People say they are big but its hard to comprehend without a good visual reference. I knew they were large from what other people had said while i was planning my build.
Its important to know when planning a stealth grow/drobe so you know how much space you will be left with and will help you to answer questions like: Will the fan still fit? ,will there be enough space for the light to do its thing?

So i thought i would just take a few pictures that i hope will illustrate how big carbon filters are so anyone thats new to all this can see once and for all the space needed to house them

this is my P.H.A.T filter , 4" ......... It is the smallest of all the highest quality carbon filters you can buy , other well known companies make this same size filter i just happened to buy a PHAT as at the time i read about a few problems a person had had with a rhino and the problem was solved with the PHAT so i decided to buy

as you can see they are not small!!!! The 8-9" models are HUGE! as tall as a small adult person lol .... so no , your not gonna hide one of them easily haha

i hope this post helps someone as i know for a fact it would of helped me had a found a thread like this while a was planning my first build.

hehe , one would fit at the top of a drobe though wouldn't it ,a good 200cm tall drobe would still leave more than enough room for plant ,light and light distance?? I see what you mean about your idea though and do agree it looks FAR better, but again, the piece of mind aspect is firmly stuck in my head
