Time for an update, I've been so busy with all sorts of shit, and there's all this bud to harvest.
I've given the Pineapple Express a good flush and she's down..... I cropped her on day 81.
She was in a bad way, but she made it to the end. Under all those brown leaves, there was plenty of nice looking bud....
This is how she looked once I pulled out all the dry leaves.....
I was surprised how many thick colas she had....
The scissor hash was lovely, so I'm looking forward to smoking the final product. The long stems were hanging in a cardboard box, and the rest was brown paper bagged and hung from a sock dryer.
With the impending house inspection, I had to start flushing the Glueberry 2 and the Night Queen.11
The Night Queen was just immense for an Auto Indica....
....from above you can see how much girth she has..... roughly 70cm by 85cm.....
She was just bursting with big knobbly colas, the Top Shooter really squeezed as much out of her as possible....
I started chopping her on day 85 and it took 3 nights, so on day 88, I got on with the Glueberry 2. Her buds were heavy.... stems bending out with the weight. Leaves were browning off, trichs were milky with some ambers, so she was ready as far as I'm concerned. Here's a close up on day 85...
She was looking blooming lovely.....
From above, you can see just how much bud she produced....
Her colas were thick and sticky...
I had to do her quickly as the damn inspection was imminent. I spent Saturday and Sunday nights harvesting her, then got on with all the shit needed to make this place sparkle for the Letting agency.
Washed the millions of windows, trimmed the hedges, jet sprayed the huntsman webs off the house, cleaned the kitchen, toilets, floors etc and of course, defumigated the grow/smoking room. That was hard fucking work, I was up till 4am the night before the inspection and I still had a plant growing.... the enormous Glueberry 1....
At 7am on the day of the inspection (Wednesday), I got to work stashing my grow.
First, I wound some string round her. She loves a bit of bondage.....
Then it got really kinky.....
Our grow room is up in the roof and has a sloping ceiling, and 2 long, thin, short height storage rooms on either side. Perfect for hiding the gear. In went GB1, followed by 3 boxes of hanging stems and another box stuffed with brown paper bags. Then I took down the tent, and boxed it and all the fans, and into the storage room they all went.
I soaked some cardboard with some orange spray, and poured it on the carpet at the bottom edge of the door, and sprayed it everywhere.
I went through 2 bottles.... even though she was wrapped up, she was stinking.
I had the Wife cook up some 'toorka', the base that all Indian food is made from...... onions, garlic, ginger, all the spices, and filled the house with the pungent aroma of masala. I highly recommend this as a way of disguising the smell. Conventional air freshener is too obvious and doesn't work very well - I find the vanilla and berry type scents increase the smell, citrus scents are better but smell like a toilet, and incense sticks are out of the question - only for hippies and students.... cooking food is normal behaviour, and the smell gets everywhere.
11.00 inspection time.... and the little old lady was very impressed with how the place looked.... it turned out she loves Indian food! She even wanted the recipe! Mrs Tee had been piling in the spices, and the ginger was making our eyes water!
By midday, she'd fucked off so I immediately removed GB1 from her restraints, removed her ball gag, and set her free.
She was trussed up like that for maybe 4 hours, and was in great shape afterwards....
The tent was up later in the afternoon, and all is back to sweet normality. The noise of the fans and the smell of all that bud drying!
PHEW!!!!!!!!!
Glueberry 1 is still going on strong.... nice sticky buds, but they still have a bit of fattening up to do.
I've not been able to give her my usual Top Shooter cos I'm having trouble getting supplies so far out here in the wilderness, so she was on basic nutes with the usual other additives, Roots XL, Bud XL, Multizyme and Bud Candy, for a week until I managed to get a free bottle of BAC nutrients's F1 Extreme Booster. My supplier reckons this stuff is great gear, and warned me to get some stakes in to support the huge buds that should follow.
I still have no idea what the pH is. I just can't pull my finger out and deal with the defective probe on my Bluelab Guardian. All it takes is a quick test and an email.... it's been weeks now, and I still haven't done it!
So with another grow almost over, my mind turns to the next grow. I have to be moving out at the end of August, so I have about 100 days..... just enough!
Look what arrived in the post this morning, thanks to my main man for sending them!
First a generous gift from Dutch Passion Tony.... & Night Queens in there and a mix of fruity strains, including the iconic Blueberry. Cheers Tony!
... and also 2 fantastic strains from Dinafem Mark....
Thank you Mark!
I'm just waiting on the bloody Coco to arrive and I can get some of these going.
What I might do is fill up some small pots with Coco - I have about 4 litres - and plant them this weekend, The new Coco should arrive before the end of next week, so I can transplant them into the 20L airpots once they are 1-2 weeks old.
Well if you made it this far, thanks for checking in!
