Personal possession of all drugs should be decriminalised, the Liberal Democrats announced today.

The policy featured in the party's 'pre-manifesto', which was unveiling this morning as it laid out its priorities in the next parliament.

The document promised "further work" to divert users "into treatment or other civil penalties which do not attract a criminal record".

While the document does not use the word 'decriminalisation', senior Liberal Democrat sources told Politics.co.uk the pre-manifesto was adopting "the essence" of a policy document proposal which called on the UK to follow the approach used in Portugal.

Portugal decriminalised personal possession of all drugs in 2000.

The pre-manifesto also confirmed Nick Clegg's promise to end the use of imprisonment for personal drug use and pledged to "move the drugs and alcohol policy lead from the Home Office to the Department of Health".

It also set out to establish a commission to assess "the effectiveness of current drug laws and alternative approaches".

The original policy document on which the pre-manifesto promise was made says the party will "adopt the model used in Portugal where those who possess drugs for personal use will be diverted into other services".

Under the system, police would decide whether someone caught with possession of a drug is a dealer or user. For those only using the drug, the onus would be on a medical response rather than criminal sanctions.

The move goes a step further than Clegg's previous pledge to stop sending people to jail for drug use.

It is the latest in a line of increasingly liberal positions on drugs from the party, as it becomes more confident in demanding wholesale reform of Britain's drugs laws.

The answer is; A new CannaCureCan 3.6ltr................................ pressure canna cure canister........

You use a single brown bad to dry the strain post snip, then dry down to 62% RH, then pop into the CCC with a couple of, 62% Boveda RH Control Packs, and then pump up to 1.7 bar...............

Then leave for 8-10 days to cure a piece. The effect is to "retain" 40-60% more of the " Volatile Organic Compounds" in Terpens of de canna....................... The black cylinder is the pump, the gauge is 11 bar........... below pump (Removable) is a decompression valve............... the first time i un did this valve............. and released the pressure............. the odor was superb. Only just seen the last few posts, my guess would have been a purge unit for hash oil (BHO) to get the butane out. I just didn't think that BHO was your kind of thing..... seems to be a few health scares out there (and burned out hillbilly homes).

I WANT ONE OF THESE.... and I wouldnt mind distributing over here down under.

DesFran Update; Day 89 overall & 59 of flowering;

Ec is now 0.64 mS/Cm nute only

Ph is 6.6 this end of flowering

And the gland loading is still powering on, 60% cloudy now

No issues encountered at day 89 of 105-120

The bouquet continues to get stronger !.......

have cut 6no golf ball sized nuggs 3 days into cure now post 6 drying

down to 65% RH before air tight curing.

So will be smoke testing next week.......

still got 2-3wks left of gland loading to go inc

10 day RO flush......... should bring out the fruits !1

Ps; I have just checked TaNg's DesFran on AFN in Dp section; The above is at least 25% larger, and loading around 20% more glands at this stage, both DF grows are within a day or two of each other, Tony saw to that !!........

I have out performed the comparative, plenty style and we aint done yet TaNgers,
get yourself some decent LEd's mate, cuz yours aint it bro, and you foxtailed the Df with to much Pk,
