I thought I'd put up some more pics of TD now that It's been 2 days since I trimmed some of her bigger leaves away to expose more buds..... Yeah, Ledbud, it smelled really lemony in there while I snipped away.

Here's the overhead shot before, on day 56....

and here she is now....

Day 73

Dammit, my camera's fucked.... got a load of sand in it when Teetee Junior dropped it at the beach............

so no decent pics this week I'm afraid. I've had to resort to the camera on my phone, so these are quite possibly the crappiest photos I have ever taken.... I apologise in advance

BUT they are doing very well, TD is producing loads of big thick buds,
day 73 TD-4.JPG

She has a nice low canopy full of chunky buds. Here's a laughably out of focus shot of her canopy......
day 73 TD-8.JPG

I managed to get a couple of reasonable photos of her cola.....
day 73 TD Cola 1.JPG

day 73 TD Cola 2.JPG

NH1 is next, and again plenty of buddage.... if you can make anything out in this shot.....
day 73 NH1-2.JPG

I managed to get a nice view of her main cola....
day 73 NH1 buds -1.JPG
NH1 cola with NH2 in the background
..... after all that supercropping earlier, her main cola's looking like a snake .... similar to the couple of adult Browns I found just metres from the pool.... while the kids were having a swim :o
brown (4.1).JPG
they don't look too happy, do they?
....and here's some other NH1 bud action.....
day 73 NH1 buds -2.JPG

Both TD and NH1 are on EC1.0 and are having a dose of Top Shooter in the mix to boost bud production.

TD is supposed to be a 70 day finisher, but I'm gonna push her a couple more weeks.
NH1 is gonna be 2 weeks later, and NH2 2-3 weeks later still, just past the 100 day mark.

NH2 is massive, not quite the half kilo I was hoping for, but she will give me double figures in the ounce department, I'm sure of that. She's also on EC1.0, and is on PK13/14 in the form of H&G Top Booster. Being a couple of weeks behind the others is cool, she'll have the tent to herself in those last weeks.

Here's a fuzzy shot of her canopy....
day 73 NH2-3.JPG

.... and if you blur your eyes, you can visualise the main cola....
day 73 NH2-2.JPG

Anyway, gotta run, but more soon, when I get my other camera sorted out.
Hope all your grows are going well!

TT

TeeTee said;

AB man, you're like a forensic botanical detective..... I'm sure most folk would not have a clue and think the problem was with something other than the Coco itself.... not you Bro!

AB;
yea it was mental bad luck with the shit ugro. But i didant expect to see the higher starting Ph in the Pro iether ........

The root colony, swing the ph of the medium as you go through the cycle bro. They like to start in 6.3. That why they allways veg well in soil mixes, with a soil majority. But in soil the root strugles to swing the ph up in flower wk 7 plus.

However in flower the coco is a ready built 6.8ph environ. So they flower well in coco tee.

You see the ph conundrum both mediums throw out. But the cocco during flower is the better option, even though the high ph for seedlings onwards insant good. And when coco is new is wen you are at seedling stage !!

Theres got to be a middle ground medium some where !!.... mixing soil in coco above 10% causes the calsium liberation due to soil acidity. And is very difficult to remove before use due to nature of coco......

So the hunt is on for a middle ground ph medium that is stable from 6.3 to 6.8. AB

Hi, sorry for the delay in posting, here's a catch up from last week......
Day 82 update

I'm gonna start with Think Different...... she's advertised as a 70 day harvest, so I'm already well over that.
She has been on Top Shooter for a couple of weeks and is well ripe...... but still pushing out white hairs!

She's now on an EC0 rainwater flush and I wanna try and push her for another 4-7 days more.

Here she is from above.....
Day 82 TD-6.JPG

Her main cola is thick and chunky....
Day 82 TD-1.JPG

lots of nice thick buds.....
Day 82 TD-4.JPG

She's very sticky and smells lovely, lemony with a mild medicinal / petrol tang. I rubbed some in my eye by mistake and went into a full allergic reaction so I can't wait to chop her down and have her ready, perfectly in time for the 'seasonal holidays'.

The Northern Hogs are also doing well, but as they are advertised at 77 days, mine are not too over, and I reckon NH1 will go 2 more weeks, and NH2 at least 3, maybe more..... she's a beast!!!

First NH1, she's a good size even though she is pushed for space by NH2. She's still pushing out white haired chubby fingers out of her already thick buds.
She's on Top Shooter as well as all the usual additives..... Multizyme, Roots Excellurator and Bud XL plus a hit of Molasses giving a total EC 1.1

Here's NH1 from the side window......
day 82 NH1-1.JPG
You can see NH2 behind and TD to the left.

and here she is from above, viewed from the front window....
day 82 NH1-4.JPG

And finally last but not least NH2...... she is a good looking girl......
day 82 NH2-1.JPG

From above, she is a forest of tall thick buds....
day 82 NH2-2.JPG

Here's a closer view from the front.....
day 82 NH2-9.JPG

What is she gonna look like in 3-4 weeks???

Thanks for looking in, and I hope you are all on the verge of something special for the end of the year!

Day 89 update....

TD has been on a flush for 7 days now, so on Friday night I thought I'd dig out an old camera and get some snaps of her before she gets chopped over the weekend....

Here's her main cola....
day 89 TD-1.JPG

looking ripe for the picking.......

....but hang on there.......

.... what's that white stuff just left of centre????????????

DAMMIT some mould...... DAMMIT

I decided to get some more shots, skin up a couple of fat ones, and then stayed up all night harvesting her fat, sticky buds......

Here is her left side...
day 89 TD-3.JPG

....and here's her right side....
day 89 TD-5.JPG

.... finally one of her many juicy fat buds....
day 89 TD-7.JPG

While chopping her down, I took a few shots with the digital microscope to drool over the trichomes.....

day 89 TD trichomes-14.JPG

day 89 TD trichomes-13.JPG

day 89 TD trichomes-5.JPG

day 89 TD trichomes-3.JPG

day 89 TD trichomes-6.JPG

day 89 TD trichomes-7.JPG

.... and finally a close up of a pistil....
day 89 TD trichomes-9.JPG

A nice mix of milkys and amber's....... yum.

The cut bud was extremely sticky and smelled lovely. I ended up with a nice 1cm sized ball of scissor hash ;)

Because of the Hazy training, the canopy was low, and as a consequence there was no popcorn, just thick balls of bud all the way through :P

It's all brown paper bagged and left hanging for a week. The mould only affected the main cola tip, and I probably lost around 1/3 ounce. . I'm drying it anyway to do an ice extraction on it.
