Hey penfold, nice to see someone else growing Barneys weed ::: ::: ::: ::: ::: :::

Tell us more about your set up... I see what looks like an Ecotechnics temp sensor dangling down, but what are you growing it in... is that a bummie bubbler or what?

Hope all goes well with the final push, keep sending pics!

My personal thoughts on NFT are that they are great for when you have a ton of rooted clones from a mature mother plant - just toss them all in and flower right off the bat to get a bunch of nice stalks loaded with buds. Scrog in a tray, without the need for a screen/net!

Example pic - my rotating-channel NFT setup. New channel planted and harvested every two weeks. This made High Times Pix of the Crop.

Smart Pot/Air Pots are great. Though I am a hydroponics person, I have extensive soil experience. Oxygen in soil is the biggest limiting factor in most grows, and these types of pots pretty much eliminate that. Combine with LED and a good nutrient regimen, and you get the turbocharged results you see from many of ledbud's grows, which are rivaling DWC hydroponics grows.
