Just this morning i have had a report of someone i know smoked the glueberry and he didnt have a fucking clue what to buy in the supermarket.

He has been smoking for years too and said wow! didn't even tell him it was an auto.

People chat shit until they're laid out hahah.

It sounds like i need to try the night queen!! i will deffo grab some of them.

As for the rosin, i bought a press a little while back and i have been practicing squishing for about a year now. its what made me want to grow in the first place. I believed i could produce bud that yielded 25%+ of rosin on the press... and the glueberry is currently yielding 31% on a 100 degree centigrade press. Just awesome. And when i put it in my melter pen to vape it... i wish i could just reach out and give you that experience bro.

I have made some dry sift boards that i spoke of earlier in the thread... I bought different grades of mesh from a local factory and made some frames out of thin and strong wood. Then stretched the mesh out and secured it with tape and... voila!

i have processed half of the larf and the crusty fan leaves etc and this is what i got. It has worked really well and i'm impressed with my ghetto version until i can buy some pro ones. I have got two grades of sift at the moment, i am going to run the first batch through again and see if we can get a finer result. I ripped some of this kief, on some glueberry rosin and flower... GAME OVER.

I am MASSIVELY intersted in the roisin/vape experience.

I toyed with the idea of making BHO, but I'll blow everything up, I know I will.
Same with QWISO.

I also looked at the HUGE array of vape pens, and other handhelds.... so many to choose from, all different wattages, coil ohm ratings etc...

I tried vapes a few times, the best one I got was the Herbalaire 2.0, but it was a crap result, I felt like a wally inhaling on a big plastic bag of popcorn flavoured smoke!

I've considered getting a Mighty, or a Plenty, but again, I don't wanna waste my cash and not get the stone I get from a joint.

Vaping extracts is the way, I know it does the job.

I looked at making E liquid from BHO or roisin.... aparrently PG and PEG are harmful, but using MCT is now recommended instead, this is how they do it...
1g high grade bho + 1-3ml 100% c8 caprylic acid depending on potency desired (a completely non-toxic derivative of MCT oil - the most easily utilised ketone in existence. Then dissolve extremely slowly at 25-28ºC over a period of days....
Then just make sure you run your battery at 5-8w only, or use a small pen with dispensary cartridges.

NG mate, what's your method.... what tonne press do you have, squishing bud I can understand, but kief? What does the end result look like?
How do you get it in the vape and what kind of vape do you recommend? Wattage? Can you set these things?

Yo teetee! Concentrates and vaping is my bag, my everyday.

Rosin and dab/vaping is the perfect terps and taste. I have spent a couple years looking into the different methods of vaping in a clean, healthy and safe way. Too many people fuck about with chemicals and don't know enough about them... I am not a scientist so i'm not going to even go down that road..

I have tried a lot of the methods of creating extract... but i always come back to rosin! Including BHO/TINCTURE/RSO blablalbla... For me...there is something about a low temp dab that nothing can replicate...

I have made vape oils mixed with both vg and pg successfully but personally it takes too much away from the taste smell and feel of the thing we love... getting high! After researching and trying several times, wasting loads of weed i had bought!

So then i moved onto making cartridges etc using PG and PEG which worked fine.

If you have the right cartridge with the right wick you only need to use 3 or 4 drops of PEG400 per gram of concentrate. I am working on a method to load into cartridges that requires no PG and PEG. Jungleboys have just cracked it and i will soon muahahaha. lol. I just need to reverse engineer one of their carts. They dont even use terps, it's the extraction that differs.

Burning PG or PEG at over 450 fahrenheit or some where around there turns it into formaldehyde... Which isn't an issue when vaping because like you said you just use a weaker battery and vape on 11w max. I do this a lot, it is perfect to take with you to places where you cant blaze as openly as we would like to or if i stay in a hotel with the Mrs if we go away Ths is my second choice though for vaping...

I would recommend a cartridge of 0.5/1ml capacity for vaping VERY THICK OILS with a 510 connection thread.

Use a stick battery that has a max wattage of about 15W so you dont burn out the coil or make formaldehyde lol. These tend to be thin and wattage is adjusted through clicking the button repeatedly or in a certain manner.

I love vaping dry herb and i don't think there is anything better than just twisting up a pure green J... when i do... i use the volcano by storz and bickel.

Ok so i have my own press, it has a max capacity of 4 tonnes of pressure but i never exceed 2... i press at about 70-90 degrees centigrade. Its the plates and the knowledge of the user that do the magic. Once you start looking into it, squishing rosin is an art form in itself. Terp, colours, everything is effected by temps and pressure.

You can do well with straighteners but you can only squish about 0.5g at a time and you have to separate the plant matter off the parchment afterwards... if you pick the buds apart with your fingers and then ball them up in the palms of your hand i found this was the best method... essentially you are exposing all of the undisturbed trichomes inside the bud so when they hit heat and pressure they instantly sizzle and the rosin builds up into a stream... i have found... Remember A grade in = A grade out. I tend to yield about 31% with great bud... or bud i have grown myself... never thought i would say that!!!!!

I think to just see what the fuss is about... skip the straighteners to save getting bunt hands and get yourself a rosin press and some 160micro squish bags... I use anything from 120-160 micron for flower as thiis is best for yield and go down the micron scale gradually, meaning the mesh gets finer. There is a link below bro.

Squishing kief is how you make THCA crystals which is 99.99% THC. It is completely flavourless and odorless and you can dissolve it into anything once you have it. Amazing stuff! I will do a tutorial on squishing kief in due course i just have to build up enough of it to be able to handle a fuck up!
Its a range of about 20 presses of the same material at different pressure and temperatures to slowly tease it out of the kief. A true art!

Bottom line...

If you want the stone of a doob, stick to that because dry herb vaporizers will never compare... But DO switch to vaping for concentrates and it is going to open up a whole new level of HIGH for you... When i dab 0.5g in one go... MATE>>>>>>

I've done research as well... mainly to do butane extraction, but all the kit is so pricey over here, and it's a big move doing all that and getting caught/blown up etc...
I also read that ANY kind of heat denatures the end product, so that's why I went off the idea of Rosin.... but when you see all that goo squish out from between the plates on those vids.... you can't help but think 'what if.....'

I think this is why people are switching to MCT instead of PEG. Far healthier.

The array of cartridges and battery units is bewildering. I don't see many with switchable settings. I also see all this stuff about sub ohm cartridges etc?
A lot of units are rated by mAh?

It's the Vibe model which takes a 4.5ml cartridge with what looks like a 510 connection.... the product specs say it's a M7*0.5mm thread.... so I'm guessing it's the wrong size
coils are replaceable and are 1.5ohm. Dual coil stainless steel with Japanese cotton wick.... they suggest replacing the coils every 2-3 weeks???
Battery is 2000mAh,
Maybe I could buy a different cartridge to fit the battery unit? It's on or off though.... no adjustability.

What kind of bud do you squish.... fresh, (7 day) dried, or dried and (1 month plus) cured?
I've seen a few presses over here, but they look way overpriced... there's also chinese imports from Alibaba type sites.... ooooh I dunno you know..... and there's of course, US imports... but at what cost???
