i know mate !! its a mine feild isnt it........

i will tell you what i was told from tony from dutch passion ......He said there are two reputable UK companies that sell LED's that work and are tested ...... the two companies are LEDhydrophonics and Grow northern.
I nearly went with grow northern but then i saw the LEDhydro lights and i ended up buying a helios pro 6 as it is new technology as is their photon range i believe....

After much research i bought the helios and im glad i did, it costs more though, but if you email LEDhydrophonics they will give you a nice quote i think as it says on the web site.
if i was you and i didn't have the money for a helios ,personally i would go for a photon LED

im not saying grow northern lights don't work because they do , the reason i went with LEDhydrophonics in the end is because there technology is newer (and tested) and they offer a 5 years warranty and 90 days money back guarantee

...... its make ya mind up time haha :P

some chinese ones work and are cheaper but they do not have a warranty nor a money back guarantee , and you dont have to mess around ordering from china ...... i couldn't be assed with all that hassle
and be careful about what you see on ebay , again , some work some dont . If you see one you like the look of then plz RESEARCH RESEARCH before buying it

good luck

i used photons and Helios, i find Helios bit better.
also i think its more stable and the Helios led chip is same as what you get on flood lights and high bay lights bling bling.
some Chinese led are ok but its not easy when some thing go wrong. you have to wait long time for parts.
i rather buy UK company.
i see good results with Grow northern, i never use GN my self.
:D :D :D :D :D

yes i was very close to getting a grow northern ms0006 , its a good price/results etc

BUT

the way i see it and was thinking is the light i buy i want to keep for a long time so getting the most up to date light was important to me, and that could only mean one thing ------ the helios
not to mention the 5 year guarantee
